Liliana & Anthony: Rockefeller Lodge, San Pablo Wedding

She wasn't what he prayed for. Not even close. As Anthony rummaged through some old papers before his wedding day he came across a note. It was a letter he had written to God some time before at a Youth Conference in which he poured out his heart in prayer for the woman who would one day be his wife.

He asked God to one day bring into his life a woman who's inward beauty surpassed the surface. A woman who he could serve together with but above all else, a woman who was deeply and irrevocably in love with HIM first. And on Saturday, in front of all of their friends and family, he confessed Liliana wasn't it. Not even close. But she was so much more then what he could even begin to put down on paper. So much more.

Liliana and Anthony even though we didn't get a chance to meet before your wedding day you both instantly felt like family! And that's an understatement cause' me and Liliana? We were totally cyber BFF's with extra exclamation points and smiley faces and everything! Thank you so much for making us feel right at home with you and yours and for allowing us the privilege of photographing your wedding day.  I hope you're having an amazing time on your surprise honey moon. May you have a very blessed future as husband and wife!

XOXO

Given the schedule of the day we didn't have a chance to shoot the "getting ready" but I HAD to snag me a few details in the time we did have and I'm sooo glad I did!

Liliana and Anthony were both very hesitant about seeing each other before the ceremony however due to the wedding day timeline and having no sunlight after the scheduled time for their ceremony we made the arrangements to hold a first look. Wedding day photos were of extreme importance to them and they wanted to ensure they made time for them. I love when couples are this committed to their wedding photos.

Work it out you two! And you said you were camera shy.

Liliana has a beautiful voice and serenaded Anthony with a song during their ceremony.

...Yeap, I pretty much lost it right along with Anthony too.

I loved Liliana's choices for her reception decor. So timeless and beautiful.
