Natalia & Miguel: 50's WEDDING

It might be the ruby red lipstick. Or the soft finger woven curls. It might have something to do with my 8th grade obsession with Art Laboe's Sunday Night Killer Oldies radio show and staying up until midnight listening to Smokey Robinson and Brenton Wood in hopes of hearing my boyfriend make a dedication of Always and Forever to me over the radio. WHAT?? That was like soooooo the cool thing in 8th grade! For any hispanic girl at Vista Verde Middle School it was almost a requirement. I had ALL the Art Laboe Dedicated to You volumes and Mary Wells? Well she could be heard bumping from my stereo pretty much on the regular. In fact, I must admit I still tune in form time to time on Sunday nights, sing out loud to Let's Get it On and make Mario call me Hyna. But that's a completely different blog post. Now, where was I? Ahhh yes, oldies.

I can't quite pinpoint what it is, the clothes, the music, that cars, but there's something about the 50's that completely takes me. Something about that different place in time that I wish I could step into. Even if it were just for a day. Feeding off of that insipiration, the ever fabulous Ally with Hair and Makeup Glitz and Glam By Ally and I teamed up to do some creative 50's damadge. The second in our series of bridal shoots.

As per usual, Ally blew it out of the water creating the perfect vision of 50's betrothed hotness. This little lady's talent never ceases to amaze and impress. Any bride in the Riverside County area would be ever so lucky to have Ally doll her up on her big day.

A big, no,  a HUGE thanks to our beautiful couple Natalia and Miguel. Natalia you are super gorge with or without makeup and your smile makes me jealous of your dentist. Seriously, Katy Perry can move on over and eat her heart out on the side. I gotta say Miguel doesn't trail too far behind. Your children must be perfect and without blemish!

Internet, I hope you enjoy our rendition of a 50's wedding. If you have some cool ideas for future bridal shoots, feel free to leave them in the comment box. Now if you'lle excuse me I'm going to go dig out my old Art Laboe CD's, shave off my eyebrows and dye my hair carrot orange. Just for old time's sake.
